Apes and Oranges

I know it's not nice to poke fun at badly proofread books (not much, anyway), since we all make proofreading mistakes from time to time. ([info]jimvanpelt has a list of the more common ones.) However, the one below is no small feat as proofreading mistakes go. If appelsiner=oranges and aber=monkeys/apes then proofreading=nuclear reactor meltdown :-)

Yes, the words are Danish, but the book was translate from English. I wonder if the mistake in the original as well.
