I Love My Bike...

In particular, I like taking a small detour past Brabrand Lake when I ride to town on a sunny morning.

IS THAT A DANISH LAKE? IS THAT A REAL DANISH LAKE?????

*falls over and dies*

*yearns for a Danish lake*

*notices that that photo could have been taken right here in Omaha.* No wonder so many Danes moved to this part of the US back in the day. It looks just like home!

lol -- thanks for the photo, Jakob. I'd love to see that lake someday.

ETA: Only here in Omaha, most of the lakes are man-made. In fact it's safe to say that all of them are. *sigh*

That's a jen-u-aine Danish lake. It's not man-made, but it's a fun fact that in the stone age it was an inlet from the sea. Today it's connected to the sea by a small creek.

I'll take some pictures over the summer when the surroundings are lush and green. It's a gorgeous place to take a long walk.

I wonder if that's evidence that Denmark's land mass is still uplifting from the sea...cool, anyway. I look forward to your pictures!
